2023 BOYS PROGRAM INFORMATION

The 12U/14U levels of MAYLA boys field season will consist of 16 games and 2-3. 

The 10U boys will play 14 games and 2-3 tournaments.

he 8U boys will practice with 10U boys and may get opportunities to play in games, dependent on the coaches' recommendations.

Our tentative schedule is as follows:

• April 12 - Practices begin at Parade Park (400 Kenwood Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55403) - Mondays and Wednesdays with Saturday Clinics (April 15th, 22nd, and 29th) .
• April 12 and 15 - Equipment swap! Please bring your old gear and cleats on the 12th.
• April 25 and 27 - Tryouts (only if there are more than one team at a level) Everyone makes a team!
• May 6 - Spring games begin - Saturdays or Sundays (plan for double headers) through the weekend of May 20th. 
• May 8 - Practices move to Bassett's Creek Park (2039 N 1st 1/2 Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55405), and continue through the season. 
• June 3-4 - Spring Tournament (Maple Grove, Fernbrook Fields)
• June 10-11 - potential local tournament
• June 12 - Summer game schedule begins (Weeknights M-Th)
• July 29-30 - Summer Tournament (Delano School Campus)
• TBD - End of season Party!

Families supply their own equipment.  Mpls Youth Lacrosse has a limited supply of equipment available for families receiving financial assistance and/or trying the sport for the first time.  We will be doing an equipment swap at our parent meeting (Date and Time TBD).  We recommend players try and buy used equipment (especially sticks and helmets).
